It’s coming towards the final term of the school year, and if your a teacher or coordinator that means school tours are suddenly right around the corner.
There are a lot of options out there, and they all claim to be the perfect package. But the question is, are they really? How do you know if the attraction will really cater for all of your needs when it comes to a fun day out for your pupils? And what if you want a venue that gives you multiple options when it comes to fun activities, as well as delicious and handy food options? All of a sudden the list of options becomes a lot smaller than you might think.
Well here at Leisureplex we’re here to tell you that you don’t need to spend days-on-end researching options and venues. Rip up that list, or even better, don’t waste your time compiling it in the first place! We have multiple activities for you to choose from, and what’s more we even have special rates for school tours on all our activities.
But we want to do more than one activity and make a real day of it, I hear you say? No problem, we’ve got handy combo packages so you don’t have to choose between one activity or the other – you can mix and match them whatever way you like. There’s also great food packages and rates available, so no matter how big or small you want the meal to be, you can choose what suits your needs the best.
Sounds great right? It must be too good to be true though…

We have various activities available throughout our 6 locations – Bowling, Quasar, Zoo Playland & Pool Tables. And for a little extra fun we have some great retro and modern arcade games in all of our centres.
Bowling is the perfect activity for structured fun and interaction for the kids. Groups are broken up into teams of 4-6 people (depending on numbers), with one game consisting of 10 turns (known as frames) per player. One game can take anything from 45-60 minutes (again depending on numbers), so it is the ideal option if you’re looking for a single activity that isn’t over too quickly!
If you’re looking for something with a bit more action, then why not book a game of Quasar for your class? Our UV-lit Quasar arenas are suitable for groups of up to 25 people, but if your group is larger we can easily split them up and host multiple games! Games last 20 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes briefing time beforehand to go over all the ins-and-outs of this galactic laser-tag experience.
For the younger kids, our Zoo Playland soft-play area is the ideal venue to let them run free and interact with both themselves and other kids. Play times last for 60 minutes – plenty of time to discover all the different play sections, making their way through our mazes of slides, ball pools and padded adventure zones.
As if all that wasn’t enough, we also have a number of pool tables available in all of our centres. These can be the perfect addition to round-off the day of fun! Or why not let the kids entertain themselves on our selection of retro and modern arcade games? Games cost between 0.50c and €1 each to play, and they are a brilliant time-filler at the end of your day out.
Rates for single activities start at €5.50 per person. But if you’re not able to decide on just one activity, or you’re looking for a longer day trip, never fear, our combo package allows you to choose any 2 activities for just €10 per person!

So that’s the activities sorted, now what about food to re-fuel after all that fun? We have a variety of great food options, including delicious kids meals, as well as sharing platters and adult meals for the teachers. And if you’re just looking for a small snack to keep them going until later, we also do a Fries & Drink combo which is ideal for lighter options.
Rates start at €2.75 (prices vary depending on meal option) and orders can be taken while the kids enjoy whichever activities you have chosen. (It’s important to note. however, that our food options do vary depending on which centre you are attending, so please make sure to enquire with the centre when booking!)
